Evaluating Communications with Visitors to Great Smoky Mountains National Park
The study was conducted to determine the extent to which visitors receive, retain, and use messages sent by park management at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The effectiveness of selected media--the park newspaper, park radio, and park bulletin boards--was evaluated. Suggestions for improving communications with visitors through these media are given.
