Allowable Cover on Corrugated Steel Pipe
The objective of the research project was to develop tables of allowable heights of cover for various sizes of prefabricated corrugated steel pipe, pipe arches and field assembled corrugated steel structural plate pipe and pipe arches. Ring compression theory was used in the calculations of allowable cover and the heights checked to assure allowable deflections were not exceeded. The tables were limited by the application of flexibility factors. (Author)
