Skid Mounted Reverse Osmosis Rig: Site Investigation of High Pressure Sea Water Circuit
Degremont Laing Limited were experiencing operational difficulties in the high pressure sea water circuit on a skid mounted, reverse osmosis rig currently being constructed in their works for eventual use on an offshore platform location. B.H.R.A. was invited to comment on circuit construction and component selection in the area of the overall layout where the excessive levels of vibration were being experienced. A site visit was arranged, the outcome of which is the subject of this report.
