Analysis of Environmental Impact Resulting from the Construction of a Courthouse and Federal Office Building at Baltimore, Maryland
The project is a ten story, 440,450 gross square feet Courthouse and Federal Office Building with provisions for approximately 68 vehicle parking spaces. The building is to be located on a site bounded by Lombard, Hanover, Pratt and Sharp Streets, Baltimore, Maryland. Site selection and design concepts have been accomplished with due consideration of any environmental impact that would take place upon the community. Approximately 700 employees will be housed within the proposed building. No significant impact on the air, land, water, socio-economic or cultured resources of the area is expected from the operation of the Courthouse and Federal Office Building. During construction, some dust, noise, and equipment traffic in the area will create a minor, but short-term impact.
