The Housing Study consists of an analysis of the housing problems and prospects for the Upper East Tennessee area. The housing supply of the primary and secondary market areas were identified; housing needs were evaluated by types and sizes of houses desired, whether rental or privately owned; restraints on the housing supply, particularly low and moderate income housing were identified, and an evaluation was made on efforts by the cities in rehabilitating older properties.
