A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
North Side Collection System. Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, Colorado
The project is concerned with construction of a runoff collection system in the White River National Forest for the purpose of bettering the water supply for irrigation, electric power production, and municipal and industrial needs. Temporary adverse effects expected due to construction include construction scars, erosion, dust and noise. No relocations would be required. Unavoidable permanent adverse effects would be impairment of fish migration, disturbance of aquatic ecosystems and permanent blasting scars.
