The second volume of the Statewide Housing Study begins with a survey and evaluation of housing resources in Alaska. Components of the State's population that are without housing resources are identified. The substantial role in Alaska of government agency housing for civilian governmental personnel and of military housing is described, and impacts of such housing are outlined. The report includes an evaluation of recent experience in providing housing and housing related services in rural Alaska. (Author)
