The joint City-County improvement project is located both in the City of Yuma and in Yuma County in southwestern Arizona. The project consists of construction of two 36-foot roadways with asphaltic concrete surfacing, over both new and existing alignment, separated by a 16-foot-wide median. The County project, located between Stations 209 and 284, is approximately 1.43 miles long. The City project, located between Stations 284 and 358, is approximately 1.47 miles long (including the Fourth Street underpass which is a separate project). (Author)
