A low-rent public housing project of 840 units in three 24-story residential buildings is being constructed in a neighborhood of low-medium and high-medium residential densities. The project is being developed within the controls of the Zoning Resolution of the City of New York. Environmental effects include: Residential construction in an area of moderately high external noise exposure; Marginal increases to public transportation, elementary and junior high schools, local motor vehicle traffic, quantity of effluents.
