Procedures for the Analysis of Pavement Condition Data. Volume 3. MAPCON Operations and Maintenance Manual
The project involved modifying and developing a computer program entitled 'Method for Analysis of Pavement Condition Data' (MAPCON). The MAPCON programs provide analysis paths for safety, roughness, structural capacity, and distress data for pavements. The MAPCON program was developed to aid pavement evaluators and designers. It transforms raw pavement data to a form suitable for input to a pavement management system. The manual presents the details of the MAPCON system of programs. An overview of the system is presented to illustrate how the individual programs work together. Each program is then described separately in terms of the programmers needs. Information is given on program flow, variable definitions, description of functions and subroutines, and other information useful in maintaining the programs. The programs are described in detail and references are given where applicable. The report is the third in a series. The others in the series are: Vol 1: Project Summary Report and Vol 2: MAPCON Users Manual.
