A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Idaho Interstate 90, West Wallace Interchange to East Wallace Interchange, Idaho
With increasing traffic volumes of all types, the need for a through route of Interstate quality is also apparent. Within the city of Wallace, where conflicts occur between local and through use of highways, an efficient through route is particularly desirable. The proposed section of Interstate Highway 90 through Wallace would provide such a through service facility. The proposed concrete lined channel, because of length and gradient, would prohibit the upstream movement of fish through Wallace. Concern has been expressed over the loss of parking space both during and after construction.
