Results are summarized of seventeen supplementary test borings made to investigate conditions along the line of tunnels and two planned cut-and-cover stations on 7th Street N.W. between H Street and U Street in Section E001 of the Greenbelt Route of the Washington Metropolitan Area Metro System. The report contains a continuous longitudinal geological section along the subway line, logs of the test borings, results of laboratory tests performed on samples obtained and a text summarizing anticipated design and construction problems.
