Flagstaff-Lake Mary Road Section, JCT. U.S. 66-JCT. FAS 209, Coconino County, Arizona. Project S-354(2)
The project is located in the southeast and east section of the city of Flagstaff, Arizona. The urban portion will provide four asphaltic concrete lanes. The rural section consists of a 40-foot roadway with two 12-foot lanes and two 8-foot shoulders. Construction will benefit both the business and private sectors of the Flagstaff community. Adverse environmental impacts include a reduction of the forest areas considered to be one of Flagstaff's aesthetic values and a reduction of wildlife habitat.
