The study is designed to provide general guidelines for development and improvement of the Indian community located in Neshoba County, Mississippi. The overall goal of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians is to improve the physical, social, and economic environment of the Pearl River Community and to provide all its residents with adequate water and sewerage systems, community facilities, medical facilities, and recreational facilities. This study suggests the appropriate general locations for residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and other public uses and suggests some of the ways in which these recommendations can be implemented.
