The proposed project would reconstruct 2.38 miles of Interstate 5 between Mile Point 122.4 and Mile Point 124.8. Reconstruction will widen the existing four-lane facility; there are to be four twelve-foot travel lanes with a sixteen-foot paved median, and ten-foot paved shoulders. Harvard Avenue Interchange will be reconstructed, the Fairgrounds Interchange will be modified, the curve around Mt. Nebo will be altered from a 10 degree curve to a 6 degree curve, and the Hospital Bridge will be widened. Environmental impacts are discussed.
