The rehabilitation areas involve all or part of twenty squares. The rehabilitation proposals would result in the upgrading of approximately 916 buildings out of a total of 2,786 buildings in the 14th Street Area. The potential environmental impacts within the context of three broad categories: the physical, social, and aesthetic/historic environments as well as adverse environmental effects are discussed.
