Model investigations of the outlet works and stilling basin for Lucky Peak Dam and Reservoir were conducted in three undistorted models. The tests were made to develop the basic design for a cavitation-free manifold and to determine the energy-dissipating facilities required to ensure satisfactory flow conditions in the river channel.
