WashPIRG (Washington Public Interest Research Group) Condominium Report
In Seattle, WA, over 1,100 apartments were converted to condominiums in 1977 and close to 600 units were designated for conversion in the first 4 months of 1978. A Washington Public Interest Research Group (WashPIRG) study involved a random sampling of 53 households from a population representing 82 percent of the rental units converted into condominiums during the first 4 months of 1978. Twelve apartment buildings were represented.
