The project represents six of twelve design sections, totaling roughly twenty-three miles, of an overall thirty-four mile Jefferson Freeway project. The project generally forms a ten mile radius of circumferential belt line, about the outer perimeter of metropolitan Louisville, Kentucky. Very little adverse effect upon the environment, the ecology, or the quality of human life will result upon implementation of this project. Acquisition of approximately 1600 acres of land and displacement of roughly 347 residents and 18 businesses for right of way purposes will be required.
