A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The document discusses the fundamental basis for development of creep models for geo-materials. A recommended path to follow in the further model development within the project is given. For generalized three-dimensional modeling, it is recommended to follow a procedure derived from concepts described by Dafalias, Herrmann and Kaliakin, and also concepts described by Borja. These will facilitate the implementation of the most important creep characteristics as observed in odometer tests. Some further development is required for shear creep. A guide for the further development is given.
