Condition Surveys Along Interstate Route I-70S
The main objective of the investigation was to determine the effectiveness of the materials and methods used during rehabilitation and resurfacing of I-70S in Maryland in 1965. Evaluation of pavement performance was accomplished primarily by annual field condition surveys including the present serviceability index (PSI) determinations, road roughness, skid resistance, and Benkelman Beam deflections.
