Fiber Reinforced Tremie Cement Concrete Streambed Paving Investigation
The research project evaluated the use of fiber reinforcement in a tremie cement concrete placed in 5 culverts under I-90 Erie County. The fiber reinforced tremie concrete was inspected for 3 years of performance. The overall performance was equal to conventional reinforced Control Culvert and placement is earlier and quicker with significant cost savings.
