The proposed improvement entails reconstruction to current standards of Oregon Forest Highway No. 7 (State Highway 36) in Mapleton, Oregon, extending westerly 4.8 miles. Environmental impacts are generally limited since the work is essentially reconstruction of an existing roadway. A minimal amount of land use will be altered from its present use to transportational use.
