The report is an update of the Initial Open Space Plan Oklahoma Planning District 2. The plan continues to be of value for current planning purposes, and is referenced throughout the report. Major changes are related to open space acreage inventories, classifications, and deficiencies. The Open Space Program reflects an increasing desire by local elected officials and their representatives to adequately provide for open space needs in a framework of balanced land use development.
