Use of hydrojet technology for pile foundation construction in the North of West Siberia
Conclusions 1. Use of the hydrojet method of constructing foundations consisting of bored-drop (including widened bases), bored-driven, and bored-embedded piles is most effective under conditions of continuous vertical occurrence of permafrost soils. 2. Under nonflowing, frozen soil conditions, use of the hydrojet method is advisable for construction of foundations consisting of bored-driven and bored-embedded piles. 3. The procedure consisting in heating the working fluid during the driving operation and in removing it from the main during the technical pauses makes it possible to apply the hydrojet technology when the ambient air temperatures are below the freezing point.
