Application of submersible soil pumps
Conclusion Submersion of a soil pump below the water level in an excavation results in an improved production by soil dredges.By means of soil pump submersion, it becomes possible either to increase considerably the excavation depth (to 40–50 m) or, at a normal excavation depth, to increase substantially the production capacity of the dredge (from 2 to 3 times).
