Conclusions The article presents an analytical solution for a system of equations of flow of a fluid with a variable discharge in a long pipe with a lengthwise constant wall permeability, collecting fluid from a region under a constant pressure.In long perforated collecting pipes there is an initial section in which the main mass of the fluid is added and an intense change in the average velocity occurs. The length L of this section does not depend on the external pressure and is determined only by the pipe characteristics.An increase in the permeability of the walls φ so much that L becomes less than the pipe lengthl is not advisable and leads to the formation of a stagnant zone in section L ×
