High-tech laying of underground utilities
Methods of the shallow underground laying of utilities, which are suitable for many soil and climatic conditions, areas of the economy, and measures taken to conserve the natural environment, are examined. The methods eliminate the excavation of soils during laying and subsequent repair of networks, and the in-route welding, and raising and lowering of pipe lengths by pipelayers, and make it possible to diagnose the condition of the pipes, and “monitor” the soil bed. These methods are essential to the oil-gas complex, residential and public services, and highway construction.
