“Premit” System for Space Reticulated Structures
Part II: The “Premit” System with Bolted Joints
This is the second of three papers where we present the applicable potential of an original construction process for steel space grids, named PREMIT System. Here we explain the geometrical and structural characteristics of the bolted version of the proposed System. Moreover we carry out the static analysis of basic components as well as presenting parametric modelling. A codification and an inventory of technical solutions, useful to satisfy the design requirements of a wide application case study, are formulated. Finally, in the last section, the most important System's prerogatives are Briefly exposed.
