Self-balancing of the rotor pole system of a hydroelectric generator
Conclusions 1. A method of harmonic search for the optimal order of arrangement of poles is proposed. The method is a mathematical apparatus for solving the problem of the best self-balancing of the rotor pole system of a generator and is free from restrictions on the relationship of the masses of the poles or their number. 2. The method is realized in a high-speed program for a computer. As a result of numerical calculations, variants of the arrangement for which the pole system is practically completely self-balanced are obtained.
