Research of Monitor System for Water Lock Gate Based on Digital Twin Technology
As climate change becomes more severe, droughts and floods are causing increasing losses to people’s lives and property. How to fully utilize modern computer technology, communication technology, artificial intelligence, and 3D simulation technology to build a comprehensive control system for water lock gates of a whole river has become a key research focus. The ultimate goal is to achieve remote real-time monitoring of changes in the hydrological conditions of the river basin and precise control of water gates to regulate water resource utilization and reduce disasters. This article introduces a digital twin system for comprehensive control of water gates. It will model buildings and equipment into 3D models, and convert measurement data obtained from sensors into real-time measurement data into 3D numerical model mapping data, reflecting the real-time status of buildings and equipment. Based on real-time data and HYDRONETS models, disaster prediction will be carried out to achieve precise regulation of water resources and reduce disaster losses.
