Research of Ribbed Piles in Permafrost
The article presents the results of studies of ribbed and smooth pile models when interacting with various types of soil solutions based on cement and calcareous binders with filling of sand and borehole cuttings (sandy loam). Pile models were tested for indentation in the Underground Laboratory of the Permafrost Institute SB RAS. The behavior of near-pile soil when interacting with a ribbed and smooth pile surface is investigated. Tested models of ribbed and smooth piles in cement-calcareous-soil solution with the addition of a plasticizer. The mobility of the solution was studied and the existing of voids under the ribs with a solution was considered.
