Calculation of complete interception of groundwater inflow to “perfect” trenches by light wellpoint installations
Conclusions 1. To accomplish complete interception of the inflow of groundwater to a perfect (fully penetrating) trench by light wellpoint vacuum installations, wellpoints with high sand filling or wellpoints with air pipes should be used in the installations. 2. A comprehensive calculation of complete interception can be performed by the given method determining the order of performing the calculation operations.
