High-Performance PZT and PNN-PZT Actuators
Abstract Piezoelectric materials have been widely used as sensor and actuators in smart materials and structural systems [1,2]. Piezoelectric materials have attracted special attention among the many functional materials because they possess both the sensor and actuator functions, which can even be realized in a single element. Applications of piezoelectric materials in smart material and structures, especially those for vibration and noise control require high performance, such as larger force and displacement output.
