Conclusions 1. For an exact determination of hydraulic resistances during a plug flow regime of plasticoviscous thixotropic fluids (PVTFs) in pipes and slots it is necessary to use functionf(sen, t/T) and π(sen, t/T), the graphs of which are given in Figs. 4 and 5. In this case τoi should be determined with consideration of the previous history of the PVTFs from the dependence of τoi on the time the grout is at rest. The values of Re* or formulas (21) and (22) can be used for an approximate determination of hydraulic losses. 2. The rheological characteristics of PVTFs τoi, η, and T as well as the function τoi=f(t) and the value of τob are determined on a viscometer with automatic recording of the parameters. 3. The coordinates of the critical point of transition from a plug flow regime of the PVTFs to a turbulent one are determined from the values of Re* and τob. 4. The coordinates of the critical point A of transition from a plug flow regime of PVTFs with thixotropic linkages to a plug flow regime with broken linkages are determined by the critical specific energy spent on breaking the thixotropic linkages, which is constant for a particular fluid.
