Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis and Reinforcement Design of High Head Intake Structure
The hydropower station intake plays a very important role in the safe operation of hydropower station. As the complexity of size and force situation, using traditional structural and materials mechanics method to calculate is inaccurate, therefore, it is necessary to use finite element structural analysis to the hydropower station intake. Combined with the inlet structure of Kaikai hydropower station under construction, a refined three-dimension finite element model is established to analyze and evaluate the stress distribution characteristics of the structure for different load combinations by adopting nonlinear finite element software MSC marc, and reinforcement suggestions are provided, at the same time, the contact relationship between actual surrounding rock and concrete is considered to simulate the actual bearing capacity of the structure accurately. The calculation and analysis results can provide effective theoretical support for the design of concrete inlet, which has both theoretical and practical significance.
