Calibration Techniques
Abstract Many moisture-measuring principles have to be calibrated against a sample with known moisture content. The preparation of samples with a well-defined, and evenly distributed, moisture content requires a thorough procedure. This is dealt with in Sect. 4.1. The measuring principles where the state of water is measured in a material need calibration against well-known and well-defined humidity conditions. This is described in Sect. 4.2.
