Constitutive Relations of RCC: An Overview
Infrastructure security is a growing area of engineering analysis with focus on high-risk structures such as buildings, bridges and tunnels. Dams also need to be considered as a part of these critical infrastructures. In the modern society, dams play an important role in various aspects such as irrigation, hydropower supply, water supply for domestic and industrial usage, flood control, and so on. To properly design the dams, it is important to understand the physical and mechanical properties of construction material in dam engineering under all types of loadings and generalize their constitutive behaviors for structural design.
