Transient Photoconductivity in Polyacetylene and Molecular Electronic Aspects
Abstract Experimental data on the transient photoconductivity of trans-poly-acetylene are reviewed. Emphasis is layed on the schubweg and its dependence on temperature and on the applied electric field. The implications on “soliton switching” in molecular electronics are discussed.
