Fibre-Reinforced Bored Electric Discharge Technology Pile as a Buried Reinforced Concrete Structure
Today there is a significant increase in the use of fibre addition (fibres) in both industrial and domestic construction worldwide. The use of fibre to reinforce concrete structures successfully competes with other means of concrete reinforcement, including metal meshes and rods. Fibre-reinforced concrete structures have an increased level of fire resistance and a category of cracking resistance, which allows the use of this type of reinforcement in many areas of construction, including foundation construction, in particular in drilling piles. The main feature of drilling piles is the absence of impact and vibration loading during the drilling process, which is very important in a dense urban environment. Therefore, the study of drilling pile designs and the improvement of this technology is a topical task in the design of underground structures, because with the use of fibre reinforcements it is possible to increase the bearing capacity of the drilling pile, and to shorten its building.
