A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
French national research project Calibé allowed most of building industry partners to join towards a common goal for five years. It made possible numerous scientific steps ahead on matters dealing with mixing, placing, recording of fresh concrete hardening, together with classification and evaluation of concrete surfaces. Results have been published through a few “daily practice recommendation papers”: Equivalent Concrete Mortar, New Generation Automaton, Guide for Concrete Pumping, Concrete facings.
