Recreation Systems Development in Rural Communities: A Planning Process
This article uses experience in Colorado to present a protocol for establishing a recreation system in rural communities. Recreation development can be integrated with other dimensions of rural community life to enhance residents' perceptions of satisfaction with their community and, in the process, perhaps to attract visitors and help the local economy.
