Computer control system for the Arakawa river basin sewerage system
Outline of sewerage treatment plant, instrumentation, computer control system are described. It was the first time in Japan to introduce the computer control into the sewage treatment, and the equipment was featured by a supervisory control using color video display. The computer is moderate type FACOM 270-25 (core 32 kw, magnetic drum 512 kw), and it has an excessive capacity to allow augmentation of control system in the future.
