Nonsymmetric creep buckling of cylindrical shells under axial compression and external pressures
In the present paper the creep buckling problem of cylindrical shells made from polymer composite materials is investigated. It is assumed that all the deformations are due to nonlinear creep governed by Volterra's integral law. The investigation of problem is based on changes of the axisymmetric buckling mode to nonsymmetric one. The experimental results are presented and discussed.
