Steel plates with long-life for painted bridges (Eco-View)
Steel plates with long-life for painted bridges were developed which can prolong the period between repainting, especially in urban areas where the view should not be disturbed or specifically in strict corrosion environments. The newly developed steel plates are expected to contribute to reduction of life cycle cost, because the anti-corrosion properties of these plates are better than normal steel plates. These new plates are also expected to have similar advantages with heavy anti-corrosion paints in high salty environments. (VDEh)
