Design of a dedicated parallel processor for the prediction of fire spreading using cellular automata and genetic algorithms
Starting with a cellular automaton that predicts forest fire spreading, a genetic algorithm in used to design a dedicated parallel processor the results of which are as close as possible to the results of the cellular automaton. This processor can be used as a part of a decision support system.
