Vibration control of bridge girders with keel dampers
A newly developed keel damper, a convenient damping technique, can provide high damping performance for vibration caused by wind and bridge traffic. In this paper, the basic structure of this damper is introduced. In addition, scale model and numerical analysis results for a model bridge are also discussed.
