5th Annual Water Color Project Awards Promote Water Conservation
This article announces that this year, 25 Orange County (Orlando, Florida) schools and nearly 1,900 students participated in the water conservation‐ themed calendar and rain barrel‐decorating contests that are sponsored annually by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and Orange County Utilities. The calendar, which showcases elementary school students' artwork, is distributed throughout Orange County Schools as well as to community leaders and organizations. The painted rain barrels, which are designed by teams of high school artists, are showcased across Orange County and in schools as a traveling art exhibit.
