Farmers in California's Central Valley have sued the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) in order to require BOR to deliver more water to them. The suit will force a court to determine whether laws regarding Reclamation Act projects trump the requirements of the later‐enacted Endangered Species Act.
