This article presents Chapter 18, Checklist for Specifications on Installing Pipe, of the AWWA Committee Report on the Design and Installation of Steel Water Pipe. The chapter presents a list of items that was compiled from several well written job specifications covering both cross‐country and city installations. If both purchase and installation of pipe are under one contract, the specifications in Chapter 17 should be included in these job specifications where noted.
